_AMSTERDAM SUNDAY
‘Amsterdam Sunday’ is a reflection back on a psilocybin journey I had when I was living in Amsterdam.
The process of creating this collection is my way of integrating the experiences & lessons from the journey in a visceral, non-conceptual way. My aim here is not to tell a story, but to capture the feelings, visions & energy of my experience. Each painting depicts a different stage of the journey from ‘intention’ through to ‘rest now’.
I hope this collection can act as a guidance map for those who are curious or nervous about plant medicines & provide a framework to help guide an intentioned approach.
For others, I hope the individual paintings can be reflections & reminders of moments & experiences from your own similar experiences.
