DFNS: footwear & apparel care brand

I had the privelage of shooting the very first set of films for footwear care brand DFNS. As this was there first video offering of their brand a great deal of time was spent creating just the right identity, look & feel that would appeal to their core demographic: sneakerheads.

With a limited budget, we decided to go for a studio approach where only talent’s hands were visible. We shot in the Ukraine to capitalize on their cheaper studios & tech crews. The shoot itself was a huge technical challenge with many literal moving parts. We worked with local art teams to hand make bespoke mannequins & local rigging crews to create fully autonomous backgrounds & podium platforms.
